Espero ter conseguido passar um pouco do que está acontecendo em Darfur, ter mostrado para mais algumas pessoas o que acontece além da mídia convencional.

Day 7: TAs mulheres de Darfur por Darfur Olympics

Women and girls living in Darfur and eastern Chad – in camps, towns and rural areas – live in constant fear of sexual violence. The perpetrators are usually men from the Sudanese security forces, militias, rebel groups and former rebel groups. Gender-based assaults occur as part of the attacks, but also in times of relative calm.

Day 6: As crianças em Darfur por Darfur Olympics

Children in Darfur face atrocities of the worst kind: they have been, and continue to be, abducted, raped, tortured and murdered. Boys are recruited to become soldiers. Children who make it to camps are traumatized, and often do not have enough to eat or access to medical care.
